During night sleep, the brain processes the information and store them as memory. When we go to bed angry and heavy, our brains will store this negativity and make it difficult to forget in the coming times.
According to the National Science Foundation, an average person has about 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day. Of those, 80% are negative and 95% are repetitive thoughts.
If we repeat those negative thoughts, we think negative way more than we think positive thoughts.
You don’t need negativity from yourself, either. Let go of all negative thoughts within yourself. Overeating tends to happen when one feels unhappy, so by staying in a positive state of mind, you cut out an unhealthy dependence on food to be happy.
